American Writers Museum
The American Writers Museum is the only museum of its kind in the nation, celebrating the breadth of American writing through interactive exhibits and programming that honors the past, promotes the present and inspires the future of writing in the United States. Writing is essential to our country, and it is our aim to engage with American writers and explore their influence on our history, our identity, our culture, and our daily lives.
The AWM is an interactive playground for literature-lovers who want to learn more about their favorite writers and discover new ones. Multiple galleries with hands-on exhibits engage visitors of all ages, and regular after-hour programs allow visitors to meet their favorite authors in person.
